Dhanush & Jai New Heroine Nazriya Nazim

The actress is currently doing her first Tamil film, Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah, which has Jai in the lead, for producer Aascar V Ravichandran. She is also part of Neram, a Malayalam-Tamil bilingual, which is set to release this year. When CT contacted Sarkunam, he said, "Yes, we are currently in talks with Nazriya but we have not signed her up yet. Everything will be confirmed in two days' time."

The director is set to begin shooting for Sotta Vazhakutty, a rural comedy, in February. The project, which was supposed to have kickstarted last year, was pushed back after Dhanush got busy with Bharat Bala's Mariyaan and his Bollywood debut Raanjhnaa. "Starting sargunam s film from feb 2 nd week.it will be an out and out commercial entertainer.cant wait to do some comedy (sic)," Dhanush had tweeted a couple of days back.
